Our Mission
Mashiv HaRuach’s mission is to re-inspire Israeli soldiers, to bring back the honor and the passion of the Israel Defense Forces. In cooperation with the IDF, Mashiv HaRuach implements experience-based programs to inspire and reacquaint soldiers with Israel’s history and Biblical heritage.

Today’s Soldiers
Following the recent wars and the disengagement from Gaza, morale in the Israel Defense Forces suffered a tremendous blow. To date, the dropout rate in the Israeli army is at an unprecedented high. A growing number of young soldiers lack a feeling of national pride in the State of Israel and in the Jewish people.

Experience the Pride
Mashiv HaRuach is committed to reviving IDF pride. Based in Gush Etzion, the program gives soldiers the opportunity to learn, discover and reconnect with the values of the Israel Defense Forces. Through meditation, archaeology, Torah learning and interactive workshops, the soldiers develop a new connection to the land that they protect. More than 10,000 soldiers have participated in the program and each soldier leaves enlightened and inspired.  Our goal is to host 15,000 soldiers in the coming year.
