  is now known as the Avrom Silver Jerusalem College for Adults. Rabbi Gold
  founded the Ner Israel Yeshiva College of Toronto and also served as Rabb
 i of Bnai Torah Congregation in Willowdale\, Ontario. His last stop before
  Aliyah in 1982 was as Rabbi of the Young Israel of West Hempstead.
