SUMMARY:ATID Yom Hazikaron and Yom Haatzmaut
DESCRIPTION:\n\nAs we transition from the mourning of Yom Hazikaron to the 
 celebration and thanksgiving of Yom Haatzmaut\, we'll take a quick walking
  tour through the neighborhood of Katamon to the San Simon park at the top
  of the hill. We'll hear the dramatic\, tragic\, and inspiring story of th
 e battle fought there on the last day of Pesach\, 1948 - just two weeks be
 fore the State of Israel was declared.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWe will be meeting at
   4:45 pm\, across from Misgav Ladach hospital on Rechov Chizkiyahu Hamel
 ech\, corner Bilu: https://goo.gl/maps/4u3gr3nW8GMXX5qt6. Walking tour wil
 l leave promptly at 5.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAt the end of the walking tour\, we w
 ill be picked up by bus and taken to Gan HaPaaamon. We will have a falafel
  picnic in the park and then join the OU Israel Yom Haatzmaut Tefilla Chag
 igit with Shlomo Katz (see flyer below).\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis event is free 
 of charge but please make sure you register so we can reserve you a spot o
 n the bus and food. Please note that this event if for single women ages 1
 8-30. Thanks!\n\n
