TORAH FOR MOMMIES!!! Stay-at-home mothers generally enjoy the special time they get to spend with their little ones. But sometimes, they feel the need to get out, to socialize with other mothers, to stimulate their babies, as well as to focus a little on their own Torah learning and personal growth. At the OU Israel Center, a new program was started to provide all of this to young mothers.
Join us on Mondays for our special Torah for Mommies program.
We begin the morning at 10:30am with a Mommy and Me music and movement class given by the expert, Jackie Corrie, a trained Mommy-and-Me instructor with years of experience. Jackie leads the mothers in an hour of fun with their little guys – dancing, singing, playing….lots of fun is had by all.
This class is followed by a Parsha and Parenting class given by Zemira Ozarowski at 11:30am. During the class, babies are invited to crawl around and play on mats with toys while their mothers get to learn. The class focuses on the weekly Parsha with an emphasis on lessons that we can learn as mothers. From the sources to discussion, it’s an opportunity for mothers to focus a little on the Parsha each week, and to glean important messages about their vital role as parents.
The cost of the program is 35nis per week and is located at the OU Israel Center 22 Keren Hayesod St, Yerushalayim. Please contact zemiraoz@ouisrael.org for more information.
