Just to explain a bit more about the Yom Yerushalayim program. The Tefilla is really beautiful, hundreds of people, lots of singing, overlooking the view of the Old City. The talk by Golda is fascinating – she was here in Israel as a seminary student during the Six-Day war. She has all the letters she wrote back and forth to her family in England and remembers with detail everything going on during that time period and the feelings in the air. It’s a truly eye-opening talk. All of this over your choice of iced coffee or Ben and Jerrys ice cream!!
