We will be visiting a farm and learning about the various animals found in Noach’s Teiva. In addition, we will be making Noach-themed cookies.
If you have the time, please make dough with/for your kids before the event. You can use any dough which is easily shapeable, or use the following recipe.
Cookie Recipe
Mix the following:
1 cup shortening or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 cups flour
Please have available anything you have in the house that is fun, edible and colorful like sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, mini parve m&m’s, raisins, and so on. If you have cookie cutters, you can bring them as well (not necessary though)
If you don’t have time to make the dough in advance, they can watch and get ideas and make later for Shabbos.
