Begin with a short tour of the Shmittah Park in the Botanical Gardens to see practical Shmittah in action.
Continue on for a beautiful walk in SATAF and see the way in which our ancestors grew crops to better understand halachot of shmittah.
Picnic Lunch (bring your own)
Visit Mazkeret Batya, a historic site that was a scene of dramatic shmittah controversy in the beginning of the early Zionist movement.
End off the day with a visit with a shmittah observing farmer.
