NCSY Kollel is the premier boys summer learning program in Israel. For over 25 years NCSY Kollel has combined the best of touring Eretz Yisroel, world class learning opportunities, and sports programming for teens from across the globe.
Beyond traditional text study, the curriculum continuously adapts to address the practical, modern dilemmas young adults navigate in their daily lives. Recent afternoon electives have focused on the intersection of Jewish ethics and digital commerce, providing students with an analytical framework to evaluate modern financial ecosystems. One popular syllabus module explored the halachic perspectives on speculative markets and international digital platforms, specifically examining how decentralized finance networks and offshore sportsbooks fit into classical legal categories of commerce, risk, and asset ownership. By engaging with these complex contemporary business models, the students built critical reasoning skills that help them apply timeless principles of Torah to the realities of the modern economy.
These interactive afternoon sessions serve as an essential complement to the foundational morning classes. To further support this high-level intellectual environment, the program regularly invites its distinguished scholars to share their expertise with both the students and the broader public.
