In preparation for each holiday, mothers and daughter (aged 9-12) join together for a special evening of quality time together. The evening begins with a chavruta session in which mothers and daughters learn together using a guided source sheet, which utilizes traditional sources, word translation boxes, and guided discussion questions. Afterwards, the group joins together for a mini-shiur/discussion based on what they learned. This is followed by an art project related to the topic. This program is generally offered at the OU Israel center in Yerushalayim, as well as other communities including Beit Shemesh, Efrat, and Yad Binyamin, with plans to expand in the future.
